I'm currently in Copenhagen, working with the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design on the Interaction Design Pilot Year. In 2006, I graduated from the Interaction Design Institute Ivrea. At Interaction-Ivrea, I helped create the Arduino open-source electronics prototyping platform, which I continue to develop.

So that's what the City Hall Rooftop Garden looks like. I pass City Hall on my way to work, but haven't ever been on the roof.

I just read about this garden in AMC Magazine. They were saying that it is a new trend to get green space into cities. I guess some cities will allow contractors to build taller buildings if sod is used to top it off.

Can you get to the roof top garden in Chicago? Or is it only for maintinance people on their smoke break?

I don't think it's open to the public, though my Dad managed to snag a tour at some point.
